Jaguar Australia has announced that its XE, XF and F-Pace models will, from late this year, be available with a more powerful version of the brand's 2.0-litre Ingenium turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine.

Producing 221kW of power at 5500rpm and 400Nm of torque from 1500-4500rpm, the new powerplant is universally paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and denoted by the 30t badge.

Locally, drive is sent to the rear wheels for the XE and XF pair, while the F-Pace employs an all-wheel-drive set-up.
